The Queen of Roses represented Bulgaria in China with the support of Victor Azmanov - Chairman of BCCCI

 

The winner of this year's beauty contest "Queen of the Valley of Roses" Miliana Tancheva returned from her two-week trip to China. In a few days the “Miss World” contest will take place in the far-eastern country.
 
The trip to China was the big prize in the competition organised by the municipality of Kazanlak. It was provided by the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is a partner of the municipality.
 
The Queen of the Valley of Roses Miliana Tancheva was the representative of Bulgaria in the Eighth edition of the Shangai International Youth Interactive Friendship Camp /International Youth Camp Friendship and Cooperation/, which was held in Shanghai. It was attended by 78 young people from 17 countries located on five continents.
 
In China, the beauty from Karlovo has attracted new fans of our country not only with her charm but also with an attractive presentation of Bulgaria. The Bulgarian customs and traditions, associated with the oil giving rose enchanted the new Bulgarian friends in the Chinese mega polis. Miliana was invited to visit China again this autumn for the Festival of Bulgarian cuisine.
 
At a press-conference with the Mayor of Kazanlak, Galina Stoyanova, Miliana presented some details of her trip. She thanked the Chairman of Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Victor Azmanov for the unique opportunity to see a different and vast world. "My eyes have been opened, many opportunities were exposed to my view and now I have friends from all over the world," said the Queen of Roses. She recalled that immediately after winning the title in June, Victor Azmanov wished her to use the trampoline, that the crown was giving to her to educate and develop. In practice, the Chamber has been helping this wish to come true, said the young lady.
 
The mayor of the municipality, Galina Stoyanova, also thanked the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and highlighted the importance of this partnership for the region. She said that in parallel with the departure of Miliana to China was signed the first contract for the export of rose oil to the Chinese market. The Bulgarian manufacturer of the authentic product is a company located in Karlovo – the hometown of Queen of the Valley.
 
At the press-conference Ms. Stoyanova presented another beauty - this year's Queen of Roses of Kazanlak - Nelly Slavova. She is promoting her hometown in Grasse, Southern France. The mission of the two queens to promote Bulgaria will continue throughout the year, clearly stated both beauties.
