The Queen of Roses will represent Bulgaria in China

The Queen of the Valley of Roses – Miliana Tancheva from Karlovo will travel to China, where she will spend 12 exciting days. The winner of the prestigious beauty contest, which took place in Kazanlak in June, received the crown and the big prize provided by the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry - a trip to the Far-Eastern country. The travel voucher was awarded by the Chairman of BCCCI – Victor Azmanov. He wished the Queen to take advantage of the reputation and the opportunities that the title will give her to educate and improve.

In China, Miliana will take part in the International Youth Camp for Friendship and Cooperation /The 8th Shanghai International Youth Interactive Friendship Camp/, which is organised for the eighth consecutive year by the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, in cooperation with the government in Shanghai. The Youth Forum will be held from 18th to 29th July and will be attended by over 60 teenagers from Europe and America. The Queen of Roses, Miliana Tancheva will be the only Bulgarian.

Within 12 days, the participants will have the opportunity to experience traditional Chinese culture, rituals, folklore and art, to learn about the local food and to see the latest achievements of Chinese science, architecture, economics. The purpose of the youth meeting is to encourage contacts between young people from different countries, contributing to world peace and understanding, but also to promote the scientific and cultural progress of Shanghai.


In China, the Bulgarian beauty will represent her motherland in a special panel in the program. Miliana Tancheva will present the Bulgarian rose, which has been recognised as a symbol of our country by the inhabitants of the Far-Eastern countries.
In Shanghai, our young beauty will celebrate her birthday in the company of new friends from all over the world.
