Children and youths took part in early cultural contest, organized with BCCCI’s support
BCCCI’s Chairman Viktor Azmanov and the rector of the VTU Prof. Plamen Legkostup handed in Veliko Tarnovo awards to the winners of "Bulgaria and China - ancient and unique civilization" contest. The award ceremony took place in the second in our country "Confucius" Institute in the Old Bulgarian capital.
Participation, in this year's edition of the competition, took 130 children and young people across the country. Organizers for the second consecutive year were the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chinese library and information center at the University "St. Cyril and Methodius", "Confucius" Institute and Humanitarian High School - Veliko Tarnovo.
Young contestants presented their works related to Chinese and Bulgarian culture. At the ceremony the best were awarded with certificates for their participation.
With theme work that stood out were students from Aprilov National High School, High School of Humanities, School "Bacho Kiro" in Veliko Tarnovo University students and others. Jury, divided into different sections, evaluated the work of participants in different age groups - from preschoolers to students. They participated with presentations, essays, reports, pictures and more. Among the evaluators was the director of the "Confucius" Institute Iskra Mandova, who expressed her admiration for the talent of all involved.
